Peter Parlapiano
Peter Parlapiano joined the firm full-time in July 2012. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University and went on to complete both a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning and a Master of Business Administration at Texas Tech University.
Peter is a CFP® professional, an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®), an Enrolled Agent (EA), and a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®). He is an active member of the Houston Financial Planning Association, the Houston Estate & Financial Forum, and Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). He also served on the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Financial Planning, and his work has been published in the Houston Chronicle, Journal of Financial Planning, and InvestmentNews.
Currently, he is an adjunct instructor at Rice University, where he teaches Income Tax Planning for candidates pursuing CFP® certification. He has also been an exam development volunteer for CFP Board and reviewed questions for development of the CFP® exam.
